ASUS Concept Store
After starting ASUS Concept Store, I realize I’m becoming a discussion topic for everyone… Customers, suppliers, principles, competitors, friends, relatives, even dogs & cats I felt too… o.O

So whenever I feel like updating my blog, expressing my emotion, my thoughts, my life, my business… it’s damn hard to start writing… Coz have to be careful what I write that won’t cause any unwanted issues…

Well… it’s been a while, and I think if I don’t start updating, this blog is going to die off soon…

How’s business, most people will ask…

It’s a successful plan though we went down a rough road… still it is for now and coming months…

As my concept has been copied, a common characteristic for humans, a few competitors are starting ASUS concepts too.

Price/Gifts WAR
But one thing they still can’t improve, style of selling… from way back in history that I can remember, they like to free a lot of un-practical gifts including 640gb ext. HDD… are they that desperate in “disposing” their stock, I use this word bcoz they give me the creepy feel that their stock has ghost possessed which scares the hell out of them… who know’s?

Another silly thing is giving discount of RM10-50 apart from free gifts… what for if u give little discount and compromise the whole market?! And I guarantee that customers won’t let go the chance again next time they visit u, and u will drop into never ending discount cycle… why make your life miserable?

Win – Win Situation
We can cooperate and maintain the minimum price according to ASUS official price, if not in every of your outlet, at least in our Digital Valley where customers bringing money ready to buy, we don’t need to be so desperate and give extra discounts, no matter how, they’ll still buy in Digital Valley, right?

Announcement
I hereby announce I will TAKE INITIATIVE to maintain official minimum selling price, even customers don’t want any free gifts, my price won’t change. Unless they buying in bulk of at least 3 units of same model.

So u guys can feel safe to follow and maintain the price, even without Free Gifts, price still same. How many free gifts is up to u, just don’t throw price, it’s very low-class and messy…

M and U company said they’ll not sell below official lowest price… So now only left G and NC company… Hope they can follow too…

What’s next plan?
Our ongoing and upcoming plans are to improve our company and personal image and introducing more packages choice for customers. And investing in marketing part.

Lastly, start targeting our other business categories such as CCTV systems, distribution, etc…

YES Broadband is coming our shop…
We also plan to start selling YES 4G broadband products…

A little more insider info, we are in plan of 2nd branch within this year… Shhh, keep it secret

so, what’s i’m up to?

Finally, our plan has got on track… our ASUS concept store is now in operation! So far so good, performance is near our expectations… cheers!

Well… of cause it’s a bumpy road for doing business, especially in ICT market… we have to be very careful and hold steady on the wheels, it should be a great path ahead of us…

There are one or two risky matters to face currently… can’t be avoided if we want to do it big, we must be strong and daring… hope it will come out smooth and good…

So, can i reveal one or two of our plans??? eager to know?? haha….

we can’t reveal too much, but a general one, we definitely plan to expand our retail by next year end if according to plan… and …….. (can’t tell more)

ok… it’s time to sleep… we have a war to fight tomorrow! haha…

day by day, the time is ticking….
our ASUS Centre‘s Grand Opening is getting nearer each day…

nervous of it’s opening…

but i’m more nervous on the preparation of it!
everything seems very tight on schedule,

preparing money and studying cash flow…

it’s not yet completed… >< there’ll be some part of the studying that we’ll missed… nothing is perfect… just hope it’s not something serious… we have to be very careful in every cent we touch…

renovation on the way…

arranging renovation of the ceiling, custom-made furnitures, beautifying the whole shop… while trying our best to provide the best design and effects, we need to control our budget too… it’s really tough as our given budget is below expected cost… ><

due date, can we make it?

our Grand Opening is set on Sept 16… where there’ll be a 4-day opening promotion for the whole Digital Valley Phase 2 (level 3)… we really need to take this advantage to give a super pick start for this new shop…

from the day i wrote this post to Sept 16, there’s only 24 days left… from within this time frame, we need to be ready for moving in and start on-the-job training on Sept 10 (18 days from now)… stock must be in by then too…

mean time… i’ve got a complimentary night at Genting…

well… i’ll be setting off on Sept 1st and back on 3rd… just nice for me to squeeze in our schedule for this trip… haha… such a lucky one… XD

anyway, it’s also good for me as i’m really stressed out preparing the new shop… hehe… go for 2 days to relax and get full charge for Grand Opening business War!!! haha… sound exciting, right?? ^_^Y

Great move for us…

We have finally came up with a solution to most problems we face earlier on… we going specialized shop, no more doing major products, too hard to maintain and hard to fight against other “big brothers” in the market…

decisions making…

after a lot of thinking and study, we decided to go for ASUS Centre, its a unique direction as it’s really rare to do ASUS concept store, even ASUS themselves aren’t interested in doing it… but we do, so this is what we heading towards… Brands that don’t do Concept Stores, we’ll do… (in future, we’re planning to do more brands… top secret for now…haha)

grand opening…

it’s planned to start operating end of August 2010, grand opening will be scheduled in September… I’m sure there will be quite number of promotions and free gifts for buyers and visitors~… so, hope to see everyone there! ^_^

quality service is priority…

we take quality service as our priority as we know customer’s experience is the most important, we want all our customers to be laughing happily when we serve them, its also our joy and satisfaction to see we can make our customers so happy and enjoyable…

price for the value, or value for the price??

being customers ourselves, we understand clearly that we hope to get the cheapest price when buying something… but sometimes we forgot to consider what exactly do we want??

is it just the price? and we don’t care about the quality and services??

or we want a balance of reasonable price and with quality and services??

for example:
an ASUS notebook selling at RM2000 in our ASUS Centre, somewhere else is selling RM1950 or even RM1900… of coz, we’ll normally go for the lowest… but we forgot to understand which kind of shop we’re dealing with? does the shop provide good service? such like if we have issues with our notebook, do they provide technical support or even kind enough to help us? or just try to give lots of excuse to kick us out? or what if we need to do warranty? do they offer to help us send for warranty? or they’ll just ask us to send it ourselves? all of these small issues we face after buying the notebook are things that we hope we can have a good and fast solution and save us all the trouble going through solving by ourselves~…

so, in ASUS Centre, we focus on Quality Service and After-Sales-Service-Support… as for this reason, we don’t simply cut price like other shop do~… for the small amount of extra money, you get better service and support that valued more than the money can cost you~… it’s worth it~… ^_^ think about it~…

i helped a lot of customer upgrade their windows to windows 7,
but early the time we start selling windows 7, they faced one issue…
every one of them complained that flash is very lag~…
playing facebook game sucks a lot~…

ok… well…

a lot of their “good” friends mislead them saying its the windows 7 problem,
and customer start blaming us for recommending windows 7 to them…

but actually… its the flash problem…

yes, adobe is a very big company with all the top expert working on this…
but sadly to say, its truely flash problem…

most case to solve this…

just turn OFF the “Enable Hardware Acceleration”…

if it still not help much… try uninstall flash and remove all flash plugin in all browsers…
then reinstall it starting with Internet Explorer, then the rest like firefox…

and of cause remember to turn off the “enable hardware acceleration”…

but what if it still sucks??

it’s now most probably your hardware…
see if the RAM is taken up very high when you run your flash video/game,
if yes, then upgrade your RAM should solve much of the lagging problem…

as for flash games… it still require some minimum graphic performance,
so don’t expect you can play flash game very smoothly with a poor graphic…

lastly…

don’t blame your technical service provider for flash problem…

（5月12日）一个紧张的早晨…

前一晚应该是太兴奋到blur blur的…
竟然忘了调闹钟，我原本该7:30AM起来做早餐的~…
原本打算做早餐了，9AM到宝贝家接她，然后下新加坡~…

可是…闹钟没调就睡到8:40分才跳起来哦！
9AM要接宝贝，现在才从床上跳起来~…够力咯，紧张哦！

我就快快跑下楼去把要弄三文治的料挖出来，开火热锅~…
我就边煮边刷牙、冲凉、洗脸~…哈哈~…
弄好了就放在大大的盘上，就打算这样带去了… 呵呵~

我竟快的把要带的东西拿齐了，就赶紧上车走了！
我才花了30分就弄好全部东西~…
跟我平时比起来快很多咯~…哈哈~…神！

我就开快车，快快去接宝贝~…
*sshhh！别让她知道，会被她骂~哈哈*
其实她知道了啦~…哈哈~…

动物园~…（别笑，新加坡动物园不一样，好不好）

动物园真近，过关卡不远就到了~…哈哈~
头头被它的”night safari”的牌给骗了！
我们进了停车场又出来，以为去错了~…还了$3.90

哪里知道，转出去再回来，竟然是同一个停车场，没错！
呼呼~…多还了$3.90…真可怜~…不懂可以claim吗~…
算了~…我们终于到了，好开心哦！哈哈~…

我们在里头走了4小时叻！动物园好大哦~…
走到最后还开始下雨了，还好是差不多走完了才下~呵呵~
其实，天还没下雨，我们先下了~…好热哦！晕~

下一站，圣陶沙~…呵呵~

虽然到圣淘沙时已经5-6点了~…
原本计划4点到，然后可以玩玩水的~…
不过我宝贝怕水，时间又不早了，我们又懒惰~…哈哈~

最后只是走沙滩，从siloso的尾端走到头~…
然后我宝贝脚痛（老了），就坐下来休息一下~…
哪里知道，天黑黑的看不清楚，我脚踩的正是红蚂蚁的道路上！
它们很不客气的狂咬我！招呼也不打一声叻！过分！哈哈~

可是，算了，大人不计小蚁过~…
他们这么小，就原谅它们的无知吧~…哈哈~…
可怜，伤口到今天（5月15日）都还没好~…*痒痒的*

最后我们走回车上离开圣淘沙了~…
还没完叻~…哈哈~

到Clarke Quay走走~…

我带宝贝到著名的Clarke Quay走走看看~…
没什么特别，可是感觉很好，很舒服~…
跟心爱的人去，是不一样的~…

最后~…还没完叻~…^^

我们到Cineleisure去吃Pastamania~…
宝贝本来不会吃意大利面，这次她说好吃！呵呵~…
还好好吃，会吃~…不然我要变垃圾桶了~…哈哈~

最后就回家了~…

真的最后了，回家咯~…哈哈~…

虽然这些话很普遍，很老套~…可是它是多么有意思的话~

成长过程~…

经过了漫长的岁月，会开始忘了我们人为什么而活~
有些人就会因为追求某些东西而忘了生活的意义，
比如钱、名、势、权、（物质上的）乐、什么什么的~
我虽然才26，你可能认为我懂什么~…
可是我对人生的了解不浅，不输中年以上的人士哦~
我的人生经历也让我明白了两大点：…

第一：我们做人的根基是为了要吃的饱，睡的好…

可是在这世纪，要为了这点，
我们必须去赚钱，才能吃的好、穿的好、住的好~…
可是很多时候，我们被工作和金钱蒙蔽了双眼，
并且混乱了自己的大脑，使我们是为了钱而活、为工作而活~
再加上“工作的副作用”—压力…我们便需要解脱和发泄~
开始失去理智和人的本性~…
开始会做些不好的事，或伤害他人的事，
或更惨的，伤害自己的事~

第二：为爱而活—朋友、亲戚、还有最重要的家人和另一半…

如果你觉得可笑，怎么会那么老土~…
你再仔细的想一想，如果你在这世上已经没有亲人了~…
孤苦伶仃的，你还会觉得你继续活着，是有意义的吗？

你如果觉得人不必要为爱而活，
可以只为自己的梦想而活，只要自己开心就好~
那我会说，你是经在福中不知福，自私自利，
把身边爱你的人当作理所当然的事~

在这样的情况，只有失去了，
才懂得什么是最重要的…
才懂得珍惜身边爱你的人~

可是一定要等失去后才明白吗？
可笑可悲的是，多数的人是要经历才明白~
可是如果老天给你第二次机会，
你会怎么做？
