We’ve several interested buyers / investors enquiry on the offer we put up for ASUS professional store. And met up a few of them too, most are really interested, the only challenge is to fight for the offer price by bringing up at least 1/2 amount of agreed price within a week’s time.

Now we just wait and see who come up first, after-all there can only be one winning buyer / investor.

We’ve exciting up-coming plans and arrangements for expanding the business even more and increasing the profit to the higher level! Can’t wait to share it with the new buyer / investor.

Business For SALE: ASUS professional store

Yup, you didn’t read it wrong~ our company operating ASUS professional store is open for Sale.

Don’t get it wrong, it’s a very good business, even though not as profitable as F&B or fashion business but in IT world, it’s a good business.

Den, why the hack you want to sell it??!!

Basically, I’m an entrepreneur, I don’t much stay in company too long, I create it, build it, harvest it, stabilize it and tada! A ready “product” for Sale. I’m creating businesses and most of them, i sell it.

It’s a rough road down for this company, but still, it make it to glory. last 3 months, I’m giving it a price of RM 450,000 NETT. But after opening the second branch which is the largest ASUS professional store, it went up to RM 600,000 for this month.

Basically, last year turnover is 1.9 million (JB Branch only), this year expected is 3.0 million (include newly opened Melaka Branch).

Well, RM 600,000 is due by 2nd Sept 2012 because new branch just started. After that, it’ll rise to RM 750,000 from 3rd Sept till 10th Sept. Expected to rise again in October to RM 850,000 as our business grows.

Anyway, what’s included in that price?

It generally includes everything, such as RM200k stocks, renovation for two branches (cost RM200k), rental deposits (RM40k), licenses, on-going advertisements, concept charge, and standby plans for 1-3 years.

Additionally, I’ll still be around to be your Advisor of issues and how to do it, or guides for those standby plans. And my help is free of charge for one year.

Well, it is definitely a long way to get to this point even though it seems like just a snap of time~

Opening another store is yet a risky but safer way to get business to a more stable stage. Why is it so? most people might asked… it’s simple actually. Opening a new store is definitely helping a lot on reputation and awareness. The only issue is “Risk”, which most common people try to avoid for his/her lifetime, hoping “Risk” is never in his dictionary.

What is “Risk” anyway? Risk can kill you, Risk is also give you light~ or path to success… it’s the matter of how you see and handle Risk… and you guessed it right, I choose to get path to success!

Risk’s Path to success holds a lot of commitments and mental challenges… You might need practice being a monk before touching this Risk… obviously I still have my hair, not much but enough~… haha… seriously, it’s uncommonly stressful where nobody can understand it…

My style of business always scares people and making people crazy, or think I’m crazy… By right, starting a business should be getting ready everything before you even start your first step… and from my experience, the most important thing to get ready are “Money”, “Relationship” and “Brain”… what I mean Brain is mixture of (Killer) Plans and Intelligence… Why mixture? because I think just by Planning is not good enough if you don’t have some Intelligence while Planning it… Something like the difference between Systematic Planning and Clever Planning, you get it~

Of course a bit of dare and bravery is required too… if you start to scare, you’re losing out~… that simple.

Ok, I admit nobody is perfect, likewise for me… so, we’re talking partly on Probability instead of all theory and static analysis. Probability is combine all with theory, analysis, experience, market knowledge, local people’s characteristics, country economy, marketing plans, and operation methods. With everything affecting each other, Probability score varies.

So, what’s the rough Success Probability percentage for this new ASUS professional store in Melaka?
- In June 2012, it is 60%
- In July 2012, it is 80%
- In August 2012, it is 70%
- In September 2012, it is expected to go 90% if one of the key item is received as arranged.
- In October 2012 to year 2014, 100% success if things goes well according to plan.

I won’t go into depth of how I get the percentage, it’s confidential.

First of all, I’ve to apologies for keeping silence for a long while.
For the past year, I’ve no choice but to be in low profile and private because of business issues.

Becoming a small public figure

After starting ASUS Concept Store, I realize I’m becoming a discussion topic for everyone… Customers, suppliers, principles, competitors, friends, relatives, even dogs & cats I felt too… o.O

So whenever I feel like updating my blog, expressing my emotion, my thoughts, my life, my business… it’s damn hard to start writing… Coz have to be careful what I write that won’t cause any unwanted issues…

Well… it’s been a while, and I think if I don’t start updating, this blog is going to die off soon…

How’s business, most people will ask…

It’s a successful plan though we went down a rough road… still it is for now and coming months…

As my concept has been copied, a common characteristic for humans, a few competitors are starting ASUS concepts too.

Price/Gifts WAR
But one thing they still can’t improve, style of selling… from way back in history that I can remember, they like to free a lot of un-practical gifts including 640gb ext. HDD… are they that desperate in “disposing” their stock, I use this word bcoz they give me the creepy feel that their stock has ghost possessed which scares the hell out of them… who know’s?

Another silly thing is giving discount of RM10-50 apart from free gifts… what for if u give little discount and compromise the whole market?! And I guarantee that customers won’t let go the chance again next time they visit u, and u will drop into never ending discount cycle… why make your life miserable?

Win – Win Situation
We can cooperate and maintain the minimum price according to ASUS official price, if not in every of your outlet, at least in our Digital Valley where customers bringing money ready to buy, we don’t need to be so desperate and give extra discounts, no matter how, they’ll still buy in Digital Valley, right?

Announcement
I hereby announce I will TAKE INITIATIVE to maintain official minimum selling price, even customers don’t want any free gifts, my price won’t change. Unless they buying in bulk of at least 3 units of same model.

So u guys can feel safe to follow and maintain the price, even without Free Gifts, price still same. How many free gifts is up to u, just don’t throw price, it’s very low-class and messy…

M and U company said they’ll not sell below official lowest price… So now only left G and NC company… Hope they can follow too…

What’s next plan?
Our ongoing and upcoming plans are to improve our company and personal image and introducing more packages choice for customers. And investing in marketing part.

Lastly, start targeting our other business categories such as CCTV systems, distribution, etc…

YES Broadband is coming our shop…
We also plan to start selling YES 4G broadband products…

A little more insider info, we are in plan of 2nd branch within this year… Shhh, keep it secret

New life, new business, new directions…

For one whole month, i’ve not update my blog… so damn busy… ><

so, what’s i’m up to?

Finally, our plan has got on track… our ASUS concept store is now in operation! So far so good, performance is near our expectations… cheers!

Well… of cause it’s a bumpy road for doing business, especially in ICT market… we have to be very careful and hold steady on the wheels, it should be a great path ahead of us…

There are one or two risky matters to face currently… can’t be avoided if we want to do it big, we must be strong and daring… hope it will come out smooth and good…

So, can i reveal one or two of our plans??? eager to know?? haha….

we can’t reveal too much, but a general one, we definitely plan to expand our retail by next year end if according to plan… and …….. (can’t tell more)

ok… it’s time to sleep… we have a war to fight tomorrow! haha…
